Is hair removal permanent?
Laser treatments disable hair follicles so growth is delayed. When hair does emerge, the hair growth is greatly diminished and extremely fine.

How many treatments does it take?
Most clients require a series of treatments spaced six to eight weeks apart or when you notice the undesirable hair returning. Hair grows in cycles and the cycles vary from individual to individual.

What are the benefits of a laser facial peel?
It minimizes the appearance of enlarged pores, evens skin tone, and softens signs of aging.

What is the recovery time?
There is no downtime so you can come in on your lunch hour.

What are the side effects of laser treatments?
The most common is simply a mild reddening and this generally subsides quickly.

How much do these procedures cost?
This varies from person to person depending on your skin care goals. When you come in we will review all the plans and choose what’s best for you.

What lasers are used?
Laser Skincare of Louisiana only utilizes the most advanced technical equipment and lasers in the facility. The Alexandrite laser offers a cooling device that protects, aids and comforts patients who are undergoing aggressive treatments without causing damage. This laser is particularly beneficial for fair-skinned patients. The Yag laser is good for all skin types and is particularly gentle for people of color or those who have sensitive skin.
